jungle or not jungle?
after spending one week in la paz, i decided to go to oruro. hitch hiking of course! i ended up walking trhu the city under the rain (the luck i had, it was sunny everyday except the day i left) to find the beginning of the highway. i ended up in a truck full of 1cube metters bags full of coca lieves (you know, the lieves used to chew or to make cocaine), and above them, 30 to 40 people, old, women children, gringo travelling for all the night sleeping very titly on these bags, in the cold and the water cos the tarp had a leak in the back.... well, just an adventure like i never lived, very good. and the truck was passing near oruro, until cochabamba farther where i decided to go. the trip costed 1 euro for 8h of travelling more comfortably than in a bus. here in bolivia, hitch hiking works, but it happens as well than a lift can be charged, but usually about nothing. anyway, instead of oruro in tyhe mountain, i arrived in cochabamba from where i went directly to villa tunari, at the beginning of the bolivian jungle. after about 2 month being more or less in the mountains, it was good to be somewhere humid and hot. and the country side a lot more green. between monkeys, jungle, cascade, river... here is the villa tunari i enjoyed.
