balsas and potatoes truck trip

bridgeafter 3 days spent in leymebamba, i took the bus coming from chachapoyas, but as there s only 2 balsasbuses a bananas_mirrorweek, it was full. so i had to sit on my derbuka or stay stand up for the 7h trip to balsas(different that the one at the border), this little town of 250 people, only 12 families. there were nothing to do there except being, looking, speaking with people. the main activity there is the culture of mangos, that is exported from here in all the country i guess. a very beautiful village, and nice people that invited me for some fruits or beers.

mangosdog_and_chickenthe following day, i took a potato truck to go to celendin. i was in the back with a family, somefruits other people and pilar, spanish girl travelling from alaska to chile in 9 month. the road passed some deep precipices, climbed up to 3000m. a very folkloric trip, more comfortable than be sitted on my derbuka for 7h, and the countryside was visible directly, not thru the bus window.
